摘  要： In this talk, I will briefly describe what the arithmetic Siegel-Weil formula is about and where they come from. I will also mention my work with Du Tuoping about Arithmetic S-W formula for modular curve(2nd term), and my work with Bruinier on Arithmetic S-W formula for Shimura varieties of orthogonal type (n, 2) (leading term).
